Distant Suns

Distant Suns is a comprehensive application specially developed for all you astronomy fans out there.

The objective behind the app is very simple: the program creates a screensaver from which you can view a map creating the paths of all of the planets of our solar system, or the position of more than 20,000 stars, to give just a couple examples.

But the screensaver is not its only feature. Distant Suns also incorporates a thorough interface from which you can choose which parts of the map you want to see, or access data regarding lunar phases, positions, rotation movements, and the passage of the planets.

Not only that, but the position of the planets and stars on your screensaver will change throughout the day, updating itself to reflect reality.
